Rain and wind all day, even tried to snow in the early afternoon (unheard of for us), but it cleared off at sundown for the show,

Wonderful photo, thanks!
I have been watching the pair for several days now. Just at dusk, my sky has been somewhat clear, but for several weeks (3-4) fog/clouds have rolled in soon after dark.

I sat down to eat dinner last night and a neighbor of mine was outside with his grandson. He called to ask me what were the two bright stars in the west. I told him that that were planets Jupiter and Venus and as soon as I finished dinner, I would check them out.
Well, you probably guessed it. 10 minutes later the sky was completely clouded over!
Thanks for the cool photo!
Jim

Hello NG. You have a very nice conjunction of Venus and Jupiter image at sunset here. This is a great nightscape as it is well framed, excellent contrast, and the foreground mountain range stands out quite well. Thanks for sharing this capture with us on here NG and keep up the great work.
