Hi Frank. A nice heads up on the Jupiter and Venus conjunction. I just put up my Best Night Sky Events for March 2023 and it also includes this event. And that is a very nice image that you captured a couple of nights ago. Thanks for finding and sharing this link and your photo with us on here Frank and keep looking up.

Re: The Jupiter & Venus conjunction
Cleared up this morning, but mostly cloudy now with cumulus. Hoping those disappear closer to sunset. I don't have a clear view to the west aside from out a bedroom window so I'm trying to decide where to go to attempt a phone pic. Maybe I could sneak into the cemetery up the street.

Nice! The clouds sort of cooperated here, but this is the best of the lot. Oh well, at least I saw it. And a consolation pic...

Re: The Jupiter & Venus conjunction
Thanks. I took pics with three different phone apps and none of them came out very sharp. Don't know if they got confused by the outdoor lights and lit up houses or if I didn't really lock focus at infinity or what. Guess I should have exerted more effort and taken some shots away from my driveway in a darker spot. Next time!

Re: The Jupiter & Venus conjunction
And a sampling of the UFO/UAP reports that followed. Somebody predicted there would be a flood of reports and sure enough.
*********
Two bright lights in a direct line hovering. Very large and very bright no noise came from it and no other lights besides the two.
Saw when leaving Oxford Junction, IA almost looked like it followed us to Maquoketa. Too big to be a drone. Thought it was a helicopter at first but no noise came from it and it was very still hovering. Overheard other people talking on the phone about seeing it as well. Went inside for an hour and came back out and it was gone Couldn't see the actual shape of the object in the dark, just the lights.
********
Looked up at an unfamiliar light in the sky that me and my wife had first noticed but it did not move at all. There were 2 lights.
Craft had 2 lights and did not move.
