Jupiter

Was out last night and tried to get a short video of Jupiter and its moons.
Nothing fantastic as I could barely see the bands on the planet and of course the video doesn’t do justice to what my eye was seeing I had fun just trying to hold my phone up to it and capture it!

Hi Frank. A nice Jupiter video using your Iphone held up to the eyepiece. Jupiter and Galilean moons are visible but as you said it is hard to make out much belting. Thanks for sharing this Jupiter flickr site video with us on here Frank and keep up the great work.

I thought that was pretty cool; good for you! Hard to get a clear image (if not impossible) with a phone video, but the four moons showed up nicely!
