What is RMSS? https://csastro.org/

RMSS 2023 - The Scorpion King Rocky Mountain Star Stare (RMSS) is an annual star party sponsored by the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society.

Held every summer, RMSS has been one of the nation’s premier star parties for the last 30 years.

Located on 35 acres of land, RMSS’s “Starry Meadows” is conveniently located just over two hours southwest of Colorado Springs (outside of Gardner, CO), between the Sangre de Cristo and Wet mountain ranges, at an altitude of 7,600 feet above sea level. RMSS annually plays host to 300+ amateur and professional astronomers, family and friends.

We offer a truly amazing experience for individuals of all ages and all skill levels (beginners to experts) who are looking for an educational, astronomical related, outdoor activity in a pristine outdoor Colorado environment.

Enjoy National-level speakers, outdoor activities, children’s events, camping among friends, and appreciate the clear, dark skies of Colorado.

Check out our photo gallery from last year’s event.

Thanks for posting it and putting it on the calendar! I feel tempted to just drive on to Colorado after the Grand Canyon / Kaibab star party, but timewise there's a bit too much overlap. Maybe next year.

ES 102 ASIAIR Plus and AM5 Mount. Forgot the Camera ASI2600MC Pro
For now I removed the "Hotech 2" SCA Field Flattener" thinking that I really do not need it on a 102mm.
