I got to witness an amazing celestial event last night. I was notified at 7 that the KP index was increasing and the Aurora would most likely be visible from my location. Boy was it. The following is a panorama of two images that were then processed, mildly, in Photoshop.
This image is the new "official" image of the Rimrock Observatory from my front yard.

Hi JT. A nice pair of Aurora images from you using your Canon T3i and lens set to 18mm. Well framed, nice exposure time and the foreground shows up too. Thanks for sharng this beautiful nightscape capture with us JT as I don't get to see any Aurora displays anymore since moving to Florida and congratulations on receiving the TSSAPOD Award today.
