On the 3 January we had an occultation of Mars, There were a bit of clouds but I managed to get a few exposures after mars reappeared: Meade 8" LX90ACF, Fujifilm X-T100 at 1\250 , iso 250 using digital shutter.

Hi Piet. This is a superb image of the lunar/Mars occultation using your Meade 8" LX90ACF telescope. Excellent contrast with superb lunar surface details including the ejecta rays from Crater Tycho. And the close by ruddy red Mars shows up well too in your capture. Thanks for sharing this capture with us on here Piet and your work is certainly worthy of a TSS APOD Award.

This is really good Piet; both in the quality and the timing. Great detail in both objects. I'm with Marshall, give that an APOD!
