Valentine's Day Sun

Hey all :D

I woke up today at 5AM, saw the date on my phone and said "Oh crap!!!" You know what I forgot....

Thankfully I'm on my own all day on the road, so I have plenty of opportunities to make up for my forgetfulness. And I really don't have to; after all these years a simple "I still love you" suffices. Still, I have to do what I feel is right ;)

Red roses and a card, and I still got in at 2PM. Its been unusually warm here; I was out in just a T-shirt at noon, with the Sun in a clear sky. Still was when I got in.

I set up my trusty Solar arsenal and took some shots. My better half is a teacher, so she was in at 4PM. I finished processing these and two minutes later she was home. Time for me to make dinner; steak wrapped in bacon, Mexican rice, salad, garlic bread...

OK, I'm getting hungry just typing this, enjoy :D

Excellent image, Mark! I managed to get a little solar viewing in today as well. Dinner sounds delicious. As a single guy these days, it'll be hamburgers for me...or maybe I'll be a "chef" and go for Hamburger Helper!

Great images Mark.

Saying those words of endearment mean so much. Cards and gifts are incidental :icon-smile:

Sophia and I just exchange those 'words' but still say to each other... "where is my card" and "where is my present" even though we have agreed not to give them. It is just a 'thing' we do for fun

Hello again Mark. Wow, another nice solar image in white light. As always it is very good and also with the annotated version. Thanks for sharing this capture with us Mark and I gave Sheri a card, a box of her favorite chocolates, and a big kiss for Valentines day.
