Hmmm, much better sky last night [READ NO MOON].

Excellent transparency and 90 mins of dark sky before moon washout.

Just used the one lens & composition last night.
Pentax K1 ISO 800 10 x 60s exposures
Pentax 300mm f4 EDIF lens. This is a crop of about 1/3 of the full frame.

Thanks Jim.
There is very little artificial coloration in the image. I captured with the camera ISO set low to get as much photographic dynamic range as I could then processed to minimise loss or gain of colour. Naturally, every sensor has its own spectral response which will shift the colour balance. @scribbly noted that I was getting much better green coma and yellowish dust tail from my Pentax while his was shifting blue in processing & stacking no matter what he did.

Last nights image retained the green coma but the dust tail is less yellow than previous nights.

Cheers

Joe

Hello Joe. Wow, this is a two for one image with Comet C/2022 E3 and Mars. Just great contrast and beautiful colors in this capture Joe and this work was a great pleasure to view.
