Max from Nc, Co, Tx

#1

Post by MaxBlancke »

Hello to all. I am more or less a novice at astronomy, and have joined the forum primarily to learn how to set up and upgrade my Nexstar 8i SE.
I have a strong background in precision machining, and used to be very good at navigating ships, which is at least astronomy-adjacent.

Hi Max!

Welcome to TSS.

I’m not familiar with the Nexstar 8i se, so not much help from me. Take your time and read the instructions. You can set it up inside the house and get a general idea of if it’s working and point correctly.
