One night reprieve

#1

Post by Nakedgun »

~

Until this (Saturday) afternoon I was expecting clouds to begin entering the area for the rain forecast Sun/Mon, but, they held off.

I set up four scopes in my backyard so that my wife, her brother, my neighbor, and I, could watch Europa emerge from Jupiter's shadow at the same time. A bit later we looked at the Green comet through binoculars.

Hi NG. A very nice observing report from you. It looks like you had a lot of fun with the 4 telescopes to share with your wife, brother in-law, and neighbor to catch Europa emerge from Jupiter's shadow . Thanks for your well written and fun read report NG and keep up the great outreach work.
