"Rare" Green Comets
I've lost count of how many media articles quote comet ZTF 2022 E3 as being a once in a lifetime "rare" green comet.

I don't photograph every faint comet that graces the southern hemisphere skies. Nonetheless, of those comets I have photographed over the past decade, quite a few seem to exhibit green diatomic carbon emission.

My personal impression is that green comets are not that rare.
