I managed a capture of comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) on the morning of the 16th. The moon was at 30% around 50 degrees away but it didn't seem to have an adverse affect. This was imaged with the SW Esprit 120ED (.77x reducer) and the QHY268C. Total exposures of 90sec x 62 (1hr 33min),
processed using APP, PI and Photoshop. First time trying PI's Comet alignment tool and it made easy work of it. I'm hoping to image this again before it disappears. Thx for checking it out and appreciate any C&C.
Cheers
Alex

Excellent image Alex. Congrats on the capture. It has eluded me so far due to the lousy local weather.
This coming Saturday evening 1/21 and into the morning hours of the 22nd, it should be within the same wide-field frame as M102. I'm hoping for a break in the weather to grab some time on it then.

Hi Alex. A superb Comet C/2022 E3 image using your SkyWatcher Esprit 120ED telescope and QHY268C camera. Excellent contrast, a nice core and tail, with a nice celery green color. Thanks for sharing this view with us Alex and I hope that you can have another opportunity image the Comet again soon.

Great image Alex. I've been imaging this comet for a few nights with my WO GT102 and ASI533mc, but the ion tail is still illusive for me. The other problem is that the FOV on this imaging setup is a bit narrow. I'll next be trying it with my ZS61 and ASI2600. We'll see what happens with that combo.
