NEAF 2023 - Classic Telescopes Booth

#1

Post by Unitron48 »

A Classic Telescopes Booth has been set up at the North East Astronomy Forum (NEAF) annually. NEAF was not held physically for several years because of the COVID pandemic. However, it will be held this year, 15-16 April in Suffern, NY. I have been fortunate to participate in past events and will again this year. This image from 2015 shows a typical setup and the range of classic scopes involved.

I will be including two of my telescopes: a 1972 vintage Unitron Model 160, 4 inch, f/15 Photo Equatorial with weight driven clock drive; and a 1987 vintage Brandon 94, 94mm, f/7 refractor.

I'll be providing updates on additional telescopes included for this year, as well as updates throughout the event. If you are able to attend, stop by the booth and say hello!
