That is a good price for a 5" achromat, I wonder if Bresser is clearing stock or discontinuing.

I wasn't really looking for another scope right now but I couldn't resist the price so I bought it. I think I have a problem... :lol:

I only have one mount at this time and that's the Skywatcher Az/Gte...however, I've been putting money aside for a Skywatcher EQ6-R Pro. I have $1400 so far so it shouldn't be too long before I can get that.

That is a quality mount that should last you for many years whether you use it for visual observing, AP, or both!

Well, the scope is supposed to arrive tomorrow and the mount is supposed to arrive Monday the 5th...Hopefully by 2025 (an optimistic prediction) when the skies clear for me, I'll have learned all about setting up the mount for imaging... :D
