--Paracorr setting (I suspect setting E, but don't know yet)
--how the 23mm compares to the 22mm Nagler in most factors.

The marketplace for these eyepieces will not be huge, but it will take quite a while to quench initial demand.

I look forward to your review, do you think this is a first offering of a new series for Pentax?

Yes, I do think this is the first pair of focal lengths in a new series.
If they are glasses compatible, I foresee some new eyepiece purchases for myself when shorter focal lengths become available.
But, on that score, we don't really know yet.

I have 4 2 inch 82 degree eyepieces ranging from 14mm to 30mm. They are the eyepieces in the scope most of the time. 70 degree is my sweet spot and 80 degrees gives me a bit more time as the target drifts through the eyepiece.

In my case, 70-80° works well for me. I find Morpheus EPs particularly suit me.

I have 4 82 degree eyepieces. 14 and 20mm Orion branded LHDs and ES 24 and 30mm. In my scopes they are absolutely wonderful. I have ES 82 degree eyepieces that are 1.25s, but i have not given them a go yet.

I used the same 1970's Meade 12mm and 25mm 45 deg orthoscopics and a 40 degree Unitron Kellner for about 30 years before I saw the light. They are all very nice eyepieces and my 6" scope can only use 1.25" eyepieces.

I have a number of 82 deg eyepieces and I like most of them.

Moonfish UW 30mm 80 deg No good in fast dobs. Very good considering price when used in refractors >f7, Cats and Maks > f8

Meade UW 4.7mm Ser 4000 82 deg Decent mid-price eyepiece but I now have a Pentax XW 5mm and prefer that

I have 6 80 degree eyepieces. 2 are 2 inch Long Perngs, 14mm and 20mm, 2 are 2 inch ES, 24 and 30mm and 2 are 1.25 inch ES and they are in the 8mm and 14mm range. I have to say I am not displeased with any of them. The LPs seem to be very well corrected eyepieces and suit me just fine. The two 2 inch eyepieces are pretty fair too as long as you run them in a coma corrector.
