eqmod fixing disconnects.

I've been setting up my old EQ5 motorized Skywatcher mount for use with my EQ80ed scope. Looking back it's probably been at least 8 years since I last used it. The first night it went well, guiding was working and mount was slewing. The next night I noticed that the mount disconnected from eqmod. I reconnected and everything was fine.

Well last night I couldn't keep the mount connected to eqmod for anything! Constant disconnects. I wiggled wires, checked settings etc etc. Nothing seemed to work. So this morning I set the mount up and used some Isopropyl Alcohol and a Q-tip and cleaned the contacts on all of the connectors on the mount and whatever plugged into them. Suddenly everything works!!!

So as a bit of advice, if something isn't working and it has a connector, try cleaning it BEFORE you do anything else!!!
