NGC 1491- Fossil Footprint Nebula_SHO

Hello!

NGC 1491(Sh2-206, LBN704) is a nebula in Perseus. I captured it with the same camera position used in Western (and Eastern) Veil, being the second target of the night (for me it is now available after midnight).
Total exposure: 20 hours and 50 minutes (frames of 5 minutes, 149xHa, 51xOIII, 50xSII). The signal is pretty weak on Ha, that's why I took so many frames, so that I can also use it as a luminance. On OIII and SII the signal is very weak, the stacks came out noisy with about 4 hours exposure. Even if I had tripled the exposure, the signal would not have increased too much, I would have only reduced the noise in the background (here the weaker transparency of the sky and the moon light was to blame). I didn't take RGB frames for the stars, I used the ones in the picture Ha.
During processing, I seriously had to pull it by the hair to get what I wanted. The background was just spots of different colors, like an ugly gradient (I also looked at other pictures and that's exactly how the area is). I didn't like it, so I reduced the background saturation and used a gradient reduction software (in addition to DBE from the linear phase).
Setup: newton SW 150/750, ASI1600MMPro, filters Baader 7nm Ha, Astronomik 6nm OIII, Baader 8nm SII
Clear sky!
