Re: Refractor replacement focuser
It may not be a GSO , most people with them assume it was as at the time of production GSO was the only one making replacement focusers.
The single speed R&P has no markings on it but the one on my telescope is marked Antares and is a 2 speed rotational crayford.
The focuser is attached to a 100mm long adapter that allows for the tube attachment and rotation section.
The previous owner had to make a step up ring to attach it to the larger tube he used when he refurbished the entire telescope.
When fully racked out the focuser may be the size of a ST80
