question. CEM70G HC

The manual for the CEM70G refers to hand controller 8407 which shows a serial port plug in.
The hand controller that came with the mount is an 8410.
The serial port on the 8410 looks like it has a plug in it. Is this in fact a removable plug or do I have the wrong HC?

    I've discovered that this newer HC plugs into the usb 3.0 on the mount. Problem solved.
