I prefer clamps to twist locks but that is more a personal choice.
I could not find anything saying what the twist locks are made of aluminium/ carbon fibre/ plastic
The only culture I have is from yogurt

I use mine with a Manfrotto 028b tripod. All of my telescopes work well with it (except the 150mm
