Smoke Sun

#1

Post by sdbodin »

As a bookend to the smoke moon pic by Jared, my skies as of late. No wildfires nearby, but general smoke has settled into the Columbia Basin from everything in the Northwest.

Crop from wife's i-phone.

Hope for rain,
Steve

Hi Steve. A beautiful panorama photograph illustrating the "smoke sun" using your wife's iphone camera. Here in Florida, we had 5 weeks with no rain in August (drought) but now lately (September) we have thunderstorms just about every day (flooding). I guess this is nature's way of averaging everything out. Thanks for sharing your excellent capture with us on here Steve and I wish that I could send you some of our rain.
