Five brightest stars of the sky

I always thought that Vega is the second brightest star after Sirius. However, it is actually 5th brightest.

Sirius > Canopus > Alpha Centauri > Arcturus > Vega.

Surprisingly Arcturus is brighter than Vega, but because it is orange and Vega is white, it does not feel that way.

It can also be a surprise that Arcturus is the brightest star in the Northern hemisphere (between the Autumnal and Vernal Equinoxes anyway).

Ok, if not a surprise, maybe a useful quiz question.

Yeah, subjectively, Arcturus doesn't look all that bright to me.
