Local news has been all aflutter today over a loud bang that was reportedly heard from northern Utah County into Weber County Utah (a distance on the order of 50-60 miles). Most are now convinced that it was a large meteor crashing through the atmosphere, with a few videos capturing it. FWIW, I didn't hear, probably a little bit too far south.
