From CNN:
"(CNN) - A French scientist has apologized after tweeting a photo of a slice of chorizo, claiming it was an image of a distant star taken by the James Webb Space Telescope.
Étienne Klein, a celebrated physicist and director at France's Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, shared the image of the spicy Spanish sausage on Twitter last week, praising the "level of detail" it provided."

Hi Stephen. Looks like Etienne was promoting some comedy baloney here, but it was not a good thing to do with all of the "real" amazing imaging from the JWST that we have enjoyed in just the last few weeks. Thanks for finding and sharing this link with us on here Stephen and the best of regards.

I saw this yesterday and was surprised how many people thought it was actually a star.
I did think it was humorous though.

The joke was in a bad taste at the very least. We have enough fake documentaries already, we don't need them coming from real scientists.
