hi there

can someone explain to me how to use a bitanovah mask...sorry about spelling

It is spelled Bhatinov.

You place the mask in front of your scope to focus it. Aim the scope at a bright star. Then adjust the focus until the diffraction pattern is symmetrical. Once you have the focus set, lock the focuser, if you have that capability.

Don't forget to remove the mask from the front of the scope before imaging! (Don't ask me how I know that! :D )
