I'm Back :) Heres Jupiter from July 20th

Hey, All I'm Back

I ran into some medical issues and Medical bills and had to sell most of my Astro Gear, but starting to get back in action again slowly but surely

I Held on to my AD12 and Cem70 and building up again. I finally got my camera and filters and Barlow, so I figured I would take a first test run out. I have yet to process Saturn, but here is an image of Jupiter that was taken a couple of nights ago and finally finished processing. I got to relearn WinJupos but figure it is a good time to have some files to play with.

I used my AD12 Dob strapped to my Cem70 and used a ZWO Mini Filter wheel with ZWO LRGB Filters with a ZWO174mm and a Baader Qturret Barlow @around 2.5-3x I am not sure how much the filter wheel extended the magnification.

Processed with Pipp>AS3>REGSTX6 then PS for the final.
Each Channel had about 5000-8000 frames and stacked the best 8%



I am So Glad to be back in the action again and I look forward to being more active on here

So glad that you are back from the medical issues (and bills).

I know that medical bills can be rough, but you done good hanging on to the AD12 and ioptron.

Hello Brian. Well you kept the right gear to accomplish the excellent Jupiter image. Nice equatorial, tropical, and temperate belting, the festoons, and of course the Great Red Spot show up well in your capture. Thanks for sharing this fine work with us Brian and it is great to see you back on here and in action again.
