When I try to open it, the list falls behind the avatar of the user who made the first post.

Hi,

Are you talking about the "Topic Tools", the drop down right next to "Post Reply"? If so, I'm not seeing the same effect even when I invoke your permissions. If not, tell me where you are going for this "Thread Tools Menu". Remember we only have a week head start on you guys trying to become familiar with everything.

Cheers,

Maybe it's a browser or theme thing. When I pull it down, it is right next to the avatar and easily reachable. My browser is Firefox and I am using whatever theme came up when I first logged in.

Don't you just love computers, software and all their quirks?!

Yes, I'm running Chrome on a Win7 PC and the left part of the drop-down menu is still opening behind my avatar in this thread.

I noticed that too. I think it's just one of those funky things that the coder messed up. I couldn't find a 'fix' for it but I did figure out how to make it work. Just click on the next highest level of the forum section (in this case "Feedback", so the avatars go away. Actually there's noting in the "list" that you would need to be at the level of seeing users to use. (I hope that made some sense??? )

You then have access to the full list. It's not ideal but until I can get someone to respond to my inquiry we are stuck with it.

On the default black theme, I see this, although it cuts off only the edge of the topic tools menu for me on firefox. Possibly has to do with the font size and zoom level used.
The prosilver theme (User control panel-> Board preferences) does not have this problem due to having the avatars on the right side. I like the prosilver theme which also has a marker which marks the threads you have contributed to that I could not find on the black theme.

ElegantSoftGreen shows the same - though avatars are on the left.

Wish the thanks button could relocate itself to the end of the post :ugeek:

I just noticed that while on a posted message page, if I click on the 3 horizontal lines to go to "new posts" the menu appears behind my avatar.
If I am on the list of forums page the menu works correctly.
