Hi all. Here is the latest report from Starry Night Software and Chris Vaughan, at Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of July. Here are just a few: Monday, July 4: Earth at aphelion, Friday, July 8: The Summer Triangle (all night), Saturday, July 9: Mare Imbrium's Golden Handle (all night), Tuesday, July 12: Asteroid Vesta reverses course (overnight), Wednesday, July 13: Full Buck Supermoon, Saturday, July 16: Jupiter enters the evening sky (midnight), Wednesday, July 20: Pluto at opposition (all night), Thursday, July 21: Crescent moon meets Mars (pre-dawn), Friday, July 22: Crescent moon points to Uranus (before dawn), Tuesday, July 26: Crescent moon over Venus (before sunrise), Thursday, July 28: Asteroid Juno reverses direction (overnight), Friday, July 29: Southern Delta-Aquariids meteors peak (overnight), Sunday, July 31: Mars approaches Uranus (wee hours), and much more.
