Tiny Space Rock Has Impacted The James Webb Space Telescope

These are expected as lagrange points tend to accumulate things. Not the first one so far either, there have been four smaller hits. Webb was built with these in mind so it is science as usual.

Amazing what the folks planning these missions can come up with. Can’t wait to see what it captures when it starts transmitting.
I’ve learned a lot since I knew it all.
150mm Orion Mak-Cass, Orion StarSeeker IV GoTo mount, Telrad.
Orion 10 & 23mm (set 1.25), Explore Scientific 9 & 18mm, 2x GSO Barlow, just purchased 2” Orion twist diagonal, GSO 32mm plossl and Agena 8-24 zoom.

The article says "...there's no need to panic." Whew! Yeah, I was starting to get real anxious there, but now I'm all calm and relaxed.
