I am running the trial for NoiseXterminator from Russell Croman - Windows PhotoShop version. My first test was just applying NXT to completely processed M51data from last year. IMO the result is outstanding! Here are the before and after NXT versions:

My next step will be to take an unprocessed stack, apply NXT to it, and then run through a normal StarTools process to see if I can take advantage of the linear side of things.
Thanks Bob. It’s good to hear that it works very well on the PS side too.
My first try at linear didn’t go quite right, but it must have been a fluke because I have successfully used NXT on linear images several times since and the results are excellent.
