I haven't been on the site for a while and it is my own fault, I should be at least posting. This past week has been tough to read the PC due to having had the first of two cataract surgeries the next in this Thursday. also we have had tons of wind and clouds
Finally I have also been finally after having my ham radio ticket for 27 years I got a radio and have been talking around the world.

The week before the surgery I got a Daystar Gemini and got to use it once and then clouds and surgery.

I should be out in the observatory in a couple weeks or so

You shouldn't beat yourself up Jeff when health issues are the reason.

It is important to look after yourself first.

Good luck with your upcoming surgery and get well soon.

Do what you can within the limitations of your health, but try not to overdo it.

Keep the faith, the Universe will still be there for when it's ready for you to look at it.

Hi Jeff. I too had this procedure about 3 years ago. There is a long regimen of eye drops after each eye is done but it was the best thing that I ever did. My right eye could now focus on distance, everything is brighter, and colors are more vibrant. Thanks for your report Jeff and the best of wishes for a speedy and successful recovery.

Another success story here. I gained a magnitude of visible stars and was able to split Mizar and Alcor naked eye for the first time in 30 years after my cataract surgery. As Marshall said, keep up with the drops and good luck with surgery #2. Nice to hear from you, Jeff.
