The supernova in ngc 4647
Hey guys, I'm sure the topic has already been discussed somewhere, but I cannot find a thread. Does anyone have observational info on this object that is currently listed as mag 13 on the rochesterastronomy supernova list? That would be reachable for my 8dob in suburban skies, but I am not sure about the separation from the core, I have a 6mm eyepiece, tops. Has anyone observed it and has helpful info pls?

Re: The supernova in ngc 4647
I came here wondering if anybody has imaged it over the last few nights? Too cloudy and very windy here.

Was going out, clear, but wind now up to 20 gusting to 35. BTW it is right next to M60, so easy to find.
Clear skies,
Steve
