I have just come across this review - Why Is This £54 Monocular Better Than £3000 Telescopes?

It sounds amazing, but is it too good to be true?

Has anyone any experience of this item, or what conclusions can you draw from the actual review.

Basically, is it worth buying

Yes, too good to be true. The reviewer has no idea about optics whatsoever. It's just a monocular and not a great one at that.
Reviews are plain unbelievable as are the claims.
A cheap pair of 7 X 50's will perform much better.
Over hyped nonsense designed to lure the gullible into throwing away GBP 54.

In US one can buy a pair of decent 50mm binoculars for that price. So, can one sell a decent quality 50mm monocular for ~$75? Sure! Can it be better than $3000 telescope? Not by a long shot.

That just goes to show that buying optical devices can be a minefield.

But when you have the expertise of knowledgeable members of an astronomy forum then that task can be simplified.

'Buyer beware' seems a safe way to go. Ask first then buy later.

I am sure that any potential buyers of such an item will now have food for thought.

One of the reasons why this forum exists -- to help dissuade anyone who wants to spend £54 on optical garbage!
