With a neighborhood with vandals it always scares me to leave the camera out all night with its flashy red color so I made a cover for it.
(hoping to use it some time if the weather ever changes)

It looks like this Camera Cover will reduce the Cooling Effect of the Red Aluminum Camera Body. Heat-generated Noise isn't much of a problem for Planetary Imaging, but as you indicated "left out all night" one would guess that you are doing DSO Imaging - for which you are already Fighting Heat-generated Noise with that Camera. You might want to augment your design with some Cooling Slots and Fins (even Plastic will conduct some Heat through Fins - extra Radiating Surface Area)

In winter its fine, summer I don't do it, if the weather gets warm.

By the way, if heat is an issue one can add a fan at the back, Ive done that before.
