ADM saddle for AVX mount

Does this saddle fit the AVX mount and will it work with the Celestron 6 in Newtonian?

ADM V-style AVX saddle will fit C6. But AVX stock saddle will fit it two.

Is there any advantage to the ADM V style saddle over the stocl AVX saddle that came with the mount? I am trying to think of ways I can improve my balancing issue for my Newtonian cause I think that is the main issue which is causing my guiding numbers to be so high

Is your stock saddle plastic or metal?

Plastic
I tried earlier today to see if I could loosen the allen screws holding the plastic saddle in place and I couldn't so I might not be able to change it

This is wierd. You should be able to.

maybe I just need to try a little harder but the screws are pretty tight

I think they have started putting plastic saddles on them.

If it is metal, I don't believe you will get any additional benefits with ADM.
