Good day all!
I have been wanting to perform PEC training on my EQ6-R Pro but I read somewhere that EQMod would require an update first.
I'm running ASCOM V6.5 SP1 but I can't seem to find what Version of EQMod I'm using and if there is an update or not...
Would someone walk me through the steps of verifying the version and maybe the update process?

EQMOD shows the version near the top of the controller to the right of the ASCOM logo - see the picture at the top right of this page - https://groups.io/g/EQMOD/.

Newer versions are in the files section. I think an upgrade just entails running the new version which should update the existing one.

It looks like I have V2.00q right now and the latest is V2.00w.
Is it just a matter of downloading and running it? Will it import my settings?
I'm afraid something will go wrong and it will take forever to sort...

One of the worst dilemmas of our hobby. Do I update and possibly run the risk of undoing several hours of painstaking setup or do I leave it alone and accept the fact that I can't quite do everything I would like to.

It seems the update installed and all of my settings were preserved...
