Been wanting to get this little beauty for some time. but getting to a darker location than home at the right time of year was proving difficult. I still want to get some more data, but am stuck with the same problem.
Anyway, here it is:
Taken at Kelling Heath star Party 7th October 2021
William Optics ZS71 and Atik460EX
Lum 23 x 600 (3h 50m)
Red 11 x 150 binned
Green 9 x 150 binned
Blue 10 x 150 binned (
RGB 1h 15m)
Total imaging time 5 hours 5mins

Very nice capture Carole.

Hi Carole. This was a well spent 5 hours. Your LBN782 image really shows the dust clouds and details against a very nice star field. Thanks for sharing this excellent capture with us Carole, and keep up your great work on here.

Thanks everyone. Feel a bit silly now, as I processed the above image on my laptop at Astro camp. Not been able to get onto my Desktop at home for long enough to reprocess it until today (due to son moving in to my office/bedroom but he's out working today so a chance at last).
I am much happier with this process, I hope you are too:

Thanks Gordon, would you mind substituting my reprocess of this target (unless you think it is less worthy of the
APOD). It's posted in my post om Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:24 pm in this thread. I'd have added it into the original posting, but we can;t modify posts at a later time.
Thanks
Carole

Hi Carole,
Both are certainly worth a
TSS APOD!
I usually take the first image because that's the image that caught my attention!
