Once again, great sketch.

On another forum it was suggested to me to scan the sketches rather than photograph them, I have yet to try this as I have no access to a scanner.
Apparently it helps with all the horrible paper textures and imperfections that the camera picks up.
Once scanned it can be converted to gray scale and then inverted.
Then process as normal

I like what you have done so far though, very nice!
Eyeballs, binoculars, sketch box, Scopes n stuff.
Some people don't understand why I love astronomy so much, I cannot understand why they do not!

10-4, Clinton.
The color in the background on this is due to that very thing. I photographed the sheet which was large format, 22x30 or something like that, and it was not flat...picked up shadow and prismatic lights coming through the window. I could have reduced all of this artifact out of the image, but I decided I liked the affect in an artsy fartsy sort of way. :-)

The sheet would have been too large to scan on any equipment that I have. But I can trim it down and then the actual drawing would fit in my scanner I believe. I will try that and repost again just for the "show and tell".
Thank you for your advices here Clinton.
