4th Edition Backyard Astronomers Guide

#1

Post by Bino-Handle »

I contacted Terrence Dickinson a few years ago and asked, well pleaded, to update this tome to amateur astronomy observing and astrophotography of so many years.

He actually wasn't amused at all. But the 4th edition is out! Thank you Terry and to Alan and to all who supported and created this new center piece to astro, to those new to astronomy and those who are officially amateurs, those surpassing 10k in expenses towards this wonderful hobby.

Excellent to hear. There are 40+ new pages, a new book within a new book. Incredible.

My July reservation on Amazon for a copy got lost so I have the book on the way still. Ha

The new edition is simply amazing!

If I had to dis anything it would be Russ' LOA 3D not being mentioned. Outdoor set up tips, camping, foods, using a hood to observe.
It's very difficult to keep up I'm sure.
