it is, you just got to look in the right place. Maybe we should get a new advertising agency.

Re: All New Telescope Owners -- Please Read!
Good advice all the way around, JayTee. It might help to recast this after some kind of round robin among the stalwarts here.
I recommend that because I took Stellarium off my computer. It is too complicated for my needs.
I use the Sky & Telescope "Sky Tonight" maps here:
https://skyandtelescope.org/interactive-sky-chart/
It is easy to use. It is little under-powered. For example, the planet Uranus never appears here and right now, it is a good target. But, again, I got tired of hassling with Stellarium just to know what's up tonight. And I started with Stellarium ten years ago for a project for a graduate class in physics. It was OK then for what we needed, but I just don't need all of that right now.
Still, and all, your advice was generally pretty good. I trust that other moderators could enhance this. It's hard to say everything all at once at the very top in big type. You mentioned your advertising agency. It was a quip, but not far off the mark. I work as a technical writer, but I bow to the User Experience designers.
Best Regards,
Mike M.
