I'd love to know what the actual specs are on the "78-foot tall solar telescope", but I am too lazy to look for it.

There is also a very large telescope museum in Japan, The Astronomical Telescope Museum in Japan. Not certain if this is the best website, but it does show lots of their telescopes: https://reflexions.jp/tenref/astro/from ... pot/11187/.

Striking architecture for the new museum in Shanghai. Curious to see their collection when it's ready.
Speaking of which, the Japanese collections looks wonderful. I'd love to visit that place.
