The chart was made in the 80-90s by a English astronomer named Chris Lord.
The same that wrote the Evolution Of Eyepieces that is stickied in the Eyepiece forum.

Certainly does have a ton of information, nice one The site I found the chart on was Cloudy Nights, but as I say, no mention of where it came from. It has not been updated since 2010 and is http not https, but it has a ton of information.

With the CA chart, it is only applicable to crown/ flint refractors and does not cover ED or apochromatic refractors.
