Got a set coming from Vixen Optic's close out sale.
I want to be ready for the Perseids this year.

They are 3x28s but the price was so low I figured, why not?

Does anyone else use these for meteor showers? Any tips?

Did they turn out to be a good buy?

Still don't know. Weather was poor around the Perseids again this year and I just plain forgot to pack them on my last trip to a dark area.

Still hoping to get a fair test with them soon.

Hope you can test them out soon. I have a pair of Nikon 8x23's which mainly are designed for day time viewing such as birding and sporting events, though they do a charitable job on the moon, bright that it is.
