The specifications do look good though no reviews as of yet.
FCD-100/ Lanthanum make a good combination and with a 0.95 Strehl the lens will be getting better than average figuring and polish.

Is lanthanum really worth the extra cost or is it just marketing? I'd Google, but I'm lazy.
Let me back off my "totally worth it" to the extent of adding a "within reason". What are you thinking of getting?
80mm F7 EDL. I'd sell my ST80 and ST120 to help finance it. Or not.
For planets, Moon and doubles I would trade ST80 + ST120 for 80mm F7 ED any time. If DSO are in the picture, then it is tricky. 80ED will definitely underperform on fainter stuff. However, if you can step up to 102mm ED then it will be better all around than ST80+ST120 combo.

Well that was fun nFA!
I would say keep the ST80 as a quick G&G, the AT80 as a more serious G&G and the ST120 for DSO nights.

I like that idea. I kept my ST80 after I got the SV ED80 as they are quite different scopes.

More seriously and less fun... The 80EDs can do brighter DSOs quite well. M31 and brighter nebulae are rendered very well. Some of the most enjoyable sweeping around M42 and environs was done with the SV80 ED Access and an H beta filter. Really remarkable detail. For picking out fine details like individual clusters and nebulae in M33..... 300mm is barely enough aperture.

As far as I can see it is a mixed bag, Explore triplets have a good reputation, but they don’t use FPL53 (rather going for Hoya FCD001 ED).
They used two type of FCD glasses-hence there's the essential vs normal triplet and they're reflected in the price.

Religious wars have been fought over FPL53 vs FCD. I'm a noncombatant. Give peace a chance.

I do wonder if I should simplify / declutter and just have one better quality scope. But maybe I should consider a heavier load-rated mount first.
And then there's the matter of maybe acquiring a ZWO for a little EAA. And a tracking mount. Too many ways to spend my dinero...
