Cheers Jim.

I've upped the gain to 180 just for laughs, so I'll need some new darks.

Just done a meridian flip. Not quite got my head around setting that up for an automatic thing so I just paused the sequence once past the meridian, clicked slew and away it went! Then plate solved, reset PHD2 and set it off again!

It's looking good.

Regards

Graeme

Me too. I like doing a manual flip because I need to watch the cables. At about3-5 degrees past the meridian, I stop the sequence, reset it, then start it again and the sequence automatically slews, plate solves, centers, syncs, restarts PHD2, autofocuses, and starts the imaging. One click! NINA is awesome!

Best of success tonight! Your M100 sub in the attached image looks great! Looking forward to the results!
Jim

You're way ahead of me Jim. My flip was a manual version of what you describe!

I'll have a go at processing the data tonight. I'm looking forward to it too, at 3 hours it is, I believe my longest single target exposure!

Regards

Graeme

Anybody out tonight?

We have a clear night here and the jet stream is skirting around southern England. I've been struggling to get my guiding calibrated but other than some inconsistencies I'm at half decent! (It's been steady at 0.8 but the Dec just fell off the graph and the total has jumped to 2.8!)

Here's the first frame I captured:
