Can't say they didn't try. I can sympathize. My yard was laid down by the outflow from a glacial lake way back when. Trying to dig a fence post hole is a 75% chance I will hit a boulder.

Not as bad as Hawaii (Oahu). I was guaranteed to hit very hard LAVA!
