New member PMs suggestion

Hi. Don't see this covered somewhere. I understand how a new member cannot PM immediately, which is OK I guess, but it is a bit awkward (and rude I guess) when a new member gets a PM but cannot reply. Maybe there is a separate setting to give reply ability to new members while keeping the PM protection?

TSS uses an automated PM for all new members. No need to respond to those.
If a member PM's you before you are at the 5 post limit for PM's you can always respond via the "off topic" forum.

I wasn't referring to that PM. But I assume at least you did not think I was rude when I did not respond to your subsequent PM about "vendor" status.
