It's here, very fast shipping from
BH.
Ordered Saturday, they shipped Sunday, here Tuesday AM!!!
I have to take Wifey to the doctor uptown today, so no first light today
Plus, this will give the clouds a fair chance to accumulate

A question for others that own the PST.
My etalon tuning ring/grip appears kind of loose to me.
I can move it maybe 2-3mm towards the front of the scope.
Is this normal?

Nothing to worry about Jeff , some are looser than others it should feel less lose as you rotate it in a counter clockwise direction (looking from the eyepiece end) The view should come "into band" as you rotate the collar counter clockwise . If it looks like it can still further improve but you have run out of rotation let me know . There is a way to re locate a stop pin that is under the rubber on the collar to allow for further adjustment . Sometimes this has to be moved co compensate for different altitudes .
Hope this helps and have fun !!

Yeah, and I find that everytime I use it I have to "re-tune" it. It's pretty "touchy" and just a small change can make a big difference in what you see. It does take some small amount of skill to actually see the sun - your eyeball has to be in just the right spot. Have fun!
