I dropped the image into the app Seek and it suggested Canna Lily. (Not a true lily.)

Hi NG. That's a nice spiral nebula cloud image from you. That cloud formation somewhat resembles the Parrot's Head Nebula (Barnard 87). Thanks for sharing this excellent photo with us on here NG and keep looking up.

It is a lovely plant: thanks for the image! I think it is a yellow Canna Lily though, not an Iris.
See: https://www.allaboutgardening.com/overw ... na-lilies/ - scroll down a bit for the yellow one.

All the best,

Dean

My wife and I recently went to Acadia for a week (well, Bar Harbor, and hiked Acadia most days), and I took this hiking Cadillac Mountain.

No idea how I got the miniature effect, but I love it.

On our last visit to Sedona, Arizona, we stayed at Adobe Village Graham Inn, a wonderful B&B with our best friends, taste-tested at the surrounding wineries, and visited the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Sedona is one of six dark sky communities in Arizona as designated by the International Dark-Sky Association in 2014. No telescopes this time as I have done in the past. This time we were there for the scenery and the wine!

(Click on the pics to get the full resolution!)

I'm the one with without sunglasses with my beautiful redhead wife! :icon-smile:

Another from Meteor Crater. This was 25 images taken on a full frame Sony with a 50mm lens, merged in Photoshop, and color adjusted mostly with the Camera raw filter. The final image printed at 300 dpi would print to 10 feet by 3 feet! I love panoramas!
