When the moon is up and bright star clusters are good objects to image. Maybe a little bit too bright background but was hard to tone it down without affecting the stars to much. But thats the issue you get when imaging when the moon is up.
RGB 10x130seconds
Luminans 20x130seconds
cooling -15

Pretty starfield along with the clusters.

If you create a starmask, apply it to the image and invert it, then dim the background the stars while should remain unchanged. Just a thought.

Ah yes i tried with a inverted starmask but the smaller stars are taken up with the mask.. I did use the morph transform tool too tone it down a bit on less gain.
Maybe with more effort in the settings on the starmask i could get a better result tho.
